HabitONE is made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients in an FDA-registered facility that follows current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Our products are tested by independent third-party laboratories accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, with testing that includes heavy metals, pesticide residues, mycotoxins, GMO, gluten and soy.

The formula is clean by design: real functional ingredients, no artificial fillers or artificial sweeteners — and Certificates of Analysis (COAs) are available.

Survey Results

We run ongoing user research — surveys and one-on-one interviews — across our products to understand how HabitONE fits into real routines and how customers experience our products. For Functional Coffee, 92% of surveyed customers rate the taste 4–5 out of 5, often describing it as real coffee — smooth, familiar and not earthy. 73% rate the effect they feel 4–5 out of 5, and 47% say managing cortisol and reducing stress was the primary reason they first tried it. For Protein Coffee, taste and coffee quality rank among the key reasons people choose it, and 58% drink it every day.

Based on HabitONE customer surveys and interviews, 2025–2026. Functional Coffee: n=63 survey respondents + 9 interview participants. Protein Coffee: n=300 survey respondents, including 130 who had tried the product, plus additional interviews. Individual results may vary.

Why Mushrooms

Where it started

Coffee was never the problem — the jitters, the racing heart and the mid-morning crash were. But coffee is a ritual you don't give up: the warm cup, the taste, the pause before the day starts. So instead of replacing the habit, we upgraded it. HabitONE keeps everything you love about coffee — the flavor, the lift, the ritual — and adds functional mushrooms and nootropics designed to support smoother energy and focus. That's where the brand began: not an alternative to coffee, but a better version of the ritual.

HabitONE pairs 100% Arabica coffee with four functional mushrooms — Lion's Mane, Cordyceps, Chaga and Reishi — using fruiting bodies rather than mycelium grown on grain. The formula also includes a 650 mg Focus & Clarity nootropic blend, plus B-vitamins that contribute to normal energy metabolism. With around 85 mg of caffeine per serving — intentionally lower than a typical cup of coffee — the formula is designed for smoother, more balanced energy and focus.

Why fruiting bodies

Mycelium grown on grain next to a mushroom fruiting body

A mushroom has two main parts: the mycelium — the fine, root-like network the fungus grows from — and the fruiting body, the part most people recognize as the mushroom itself. In supplements, mycelium is sometimes grown on grain, which can contribute starch to the finished ingredient. Laboratory methods can distinguish starch and other alpha-glucans from beta-glucans — compounds naturally found in fungal cell walls.¹² HabitONE uses fruiting bodies rather than mycelium grown on grain, keeping the formula focused on the mushroom ingredients themselves.

Blend of four mushrooms — two as whole-mushroom powder (Lion's Mane, Cordyceps) and two as 10:1 extracts (Chaga, Reishi) — equivalent to ~2,000 mg of raw mushroom per serving.

Why No Added Sugar

Functional Coffee, Protein Coffee, and Magnesium Cocoa are made without added sugar. Added sugar can produce a larger rise in blood glucose and insulin, while research doesn't support the idea of a reliable “sugar rush.”⁷ ¹³ ¹⁴ That's why we keep these daily drinks free from added sugar — so you get the flavor and the ritual without adding extra sugar to your routine.

Why Natural Flavor

Functional drinks have a reputation for tasting like a compromise — earthy mushroom notes, chalky protein, or an artificial-sweetener aftertaste. HabitONE is built the opposite way. Using natural flavors — never artificial ones — is a principle we follow across every product we make. No artificial flavors, no artificial sweeteners. Just familiar ingredients like 100% Arabica coffee in our coffees, real cacao in Magnesium Cocoa, and coconut in Collagen Creamer. Because functional shouldn't have to taste functional. The goal is simple: make every HabitONE drink taste good enough to become a habit — which is why one of the most common first reactions isn't “it's healthy,” but “wait, this actually tastes good.”

"It didn't taste weird or earthy or anything."

"Tastes just like your normal coffee ritual."

"I was very pleasantly surprised."

Science Across The Routine

Different products, different goals — the same approach. We build each HabitONE formula around ingredients studied for the role they're there to play.

Protein for fullness

Whey and collagen bring 10 g of protein per serving. Dietary protein is consistently studied for its role in satiety and appetite regulation, while fiber and probiotics round out the formula for everyday gut support.¹⁵ ¹⁶ ¹⁷

Focus that lasts — without more caffeine

Lion's Mane, L-Tyrosine, Alpha-GPC and Rhodiola complement 100% Arabica coffee in a formula built for focus and mental performance. These ingredients have been studied for cognitive function, attention and performance under stress — while each serving delivers around 85 mg of caffeine.⁸
